Henry W. Haunss

Henry W. “Buddy” Haunss is a Managing Director of Sentinel Real Estate Investment Corporation responsible for new business development. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Haunss was a Partner with AREA Property Partners concentrating on acquisitions, fund raising and other corporate opportunities. Prior to that he was a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee of UBS Realty Investors LLC and head of real estate investments in the US for non-US clients. In 20 years in that position, Mr. Haunss completed in excess of $10 billion of residential and commercial transactions. He is a graduate of CW Post College with a degree in accounting. He holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Counsel of Real Estate (CRE) designations and is a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Haunss is a founding member of both NAREIM and AFIRE and has served on the board of each of these organizations. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Development Mixed Use Counsel serves on the Board of Trustees of Camp Tecumseh in Moultonboro, New Hampshire. Mr. Haunss is also a founding board member of the Japan Retail Fund Investment Corporation, which is a J-REIT specializing in retail properties.
