John H. Streicker
Chairman

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER
John H. Streicker is the Chairman of Sentinel and a member of both the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. He joined the firm in 1976 as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Sentinel, Mr. Streicker was President of the Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette subsidiary responsible for property investments for tax-exempt clients. Prior to that, he was Director of Investment Finance at ITT Levitt & Sons Multifamily Division, and held an associate position at the New York law firm of Root, Barrett, Cohen, Knapp & Smith. Mr. Streicker received an AB from Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School. Most recently, he received a degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (honoris causa) from the City University of New York. Mr. Streicker is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Executives for National Security (BENS), and was a member of the boards of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers and the Yale Law School Foundation. He is also a member of the board of the Graduate Center Foundation of the City University of New York and he has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), as Chairman of Manhattan’s Community Board #5 and as adjunct professor at Yale's School of Organization and Management. Mr. Streicker is Chairman and founder of the Wildlife Australia Fund and owner of Clairault Wines and Streicker Wines, both based in the Margaret River region of Australia. He is a Board Member of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue.

Millie C. Cassidy
Vice Chair

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER
Millie C. Cassidy is the Vice Chair of Sentinel and a member of both the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. She joined Sentinel in 1982. Ms. Cassidy was Vice President-Acquisitions, in charge of residential and commercial transactions for Drexel Burnham & Company from 1980 to 1982. From 1975 to 1980, she was Vice President of Management and Acquisitions for residential properties for the Envicon Corporation. Ms. Cassidy attended Pennsylvania State University. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fund for West Chester University and the University Student Housing Board of Managers.

Michael F. Streicker

Michael F. Streicker is the President of Sentinel Real Estate Corporation and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. His day-to-day responsibilities include oversight of Sentinel’s international offices, global business development and US portfolio management. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2003, Mr. Streicker held an Associate position in the London and Chicago offices of Madison Dearborn Partners. Mr. Streicker holds an AB degree from Princeton University and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School. Additionally, Mr. Streicker is a member of the Board of Trustees at The Children’s Storefront, a private tuition-free grade school located in Harlem, New York, and member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.

Karen F. Hallock
Managing Director

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER
Karen F. Hallock is a Managing Director in charge of Sentinel's Research & Communications Department and a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1989, she was an Associate at Lepercq Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm specializing in hotel properties. At Lepercq, she was responsible for all aspects of financial analysis for the firm's development subsidiary. Ms. Hallock received an AB from Vassar College and has completed coursework at the Real Estate Institute at New York University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Lutheran High School Association of Nassau and Suffolk Counties and is Chairman of the Long Island Lutheran Memorial Endowment Fund Board.

Leland J. Roth
Chief Financial Officer

Leland J. Roth is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting and operations, including client and corporate accounting; cash management; payroll and personnel; office administration; IT services; risk management; compliance and taxation. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1994, Mr. Roth was a manager in the New York Real Estate Services Group of Arthur Andersen. Mr. Roth received a BBA from Bernard Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Robert E. Bartlett
Managing Director

Robert E. Bartlett is a Managing Director in Sentinel’s marketing and client servicing group. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2010, he was a Director of Marketing for PRP Real Estate. He held previous positions as a Senior Vice President at GE Asset Management and a Principal at Lend Lease Real Estate where he oversaw the US sales and marketing efforts. Mr. Bartlett was with Equitable Real Estate prior to its acquisition by Lend Lease where he served in roles including sales, product management and portfolio management. He graduated from Bucknell University with a BA and has an MBA from the C.T. Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston.

Martin J. Cawley
Managing Director

Martin J. Cawley is a Managing Director and the Regional Director of Real Estate responsible for commercial property transactions and management, including office, retail and industrial investments. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1994, he held various acquisitions and asset management positions with Evergreen Property Capital Corporation and OmniSwiss Properties, Ltd. Previously, he was an investment officer with Chase Investors Management Corporation. Mr. Cawley received a BS from the State University of New York, an MS in Finance from Pace University and has completed coursework with the Appraisal Institute.

Nicholas Stein
Managing Director

Nicholas Stein is a Managing Director in Sentinel’s portfolio management group responsible for implementing the investment strategy for two of Sentinel’s commingled funds. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2007, Mr. Stein was an Associate in the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance practice of the law firm White & Case, LLP. Mr. Stein received a BS degree in International Security Studies from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the New York State Bar and is a licensed New York State real estate broker. Mr. Stein is a member of the Board of Directors of Grand Street Settlement.

George Tietjen
Managing Director

George Tietjen is a Managing Director responsible for portfolio management for several of Sentinel’s commingled funds and separate accounts, as well as client servicing. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1990, he served as Controller for Grayside Realty Corporation from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, Mr. Tietjen was on the audit staffs of Kenneth Leventhal & Company and Ernst & Young, providing accounting and tax services to real estate clients. Mr. Tietjen is a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters of Science in Real Estate Investment from New York University. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of The Ohio State University Real Estate Center.

Jack Granahan
Senior Vice President

Jack Granahan is a Senior Vice President and heads Sentinel’s west coast investor services office in Bellevue, Washington. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1978, he was the Northwest Institutional Sales Manager for Smith Barney. Mr. Granahan graduated from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia with a BS degree. He is active in many professional organizations related to Taft-Hartley and public plan sponsors, including IFEBP, NAST, NCTR, NASRA, SACRS and PREA. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the King County Labor Agency and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Washington.

Nicholas Verano
Senior Vice President

Nicholas Verano is a Senior Vice President and heads Sentinel's investor services office in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Prior to joining Sentinel, he was a Vice President and Manager of Marketing for Institutional Services at Wachovia Bank & Trust Company, with special emphasis on real estate from 1981 to 1988. From 1979 to 1981, he was a Senior Consultant with Mercer-Meidinger-Hansen and was a Regional Manager for Corporate Accounts with Bank of America from 1975 to 1979. Mr. Verano graduated with a BA from Marshall University in 1971. He was a member of the Corporate Affiliate Board of Directors of the National Association of State Treasurers and is active in various other statewide and national pension and real estate organizations for public, multi-employer and corporate plan sponsors, including NCTR, SCTR and PREA.

Richard Adams
Dir. of Client Services

Richard Adams is Sentinel’s Director of Client Services/Marketing for Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Adams joined Sentinel in 2010, establishing the firm’s office in Melbourne. Prior to that, he held a similar position at Franklin Templeton Investments Australia Limited, a subsidiary of Franklin Resources, Inc. Mr. Adams has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne.

Max Berkelder

Max Berkelder is a Managing Director at Sentinel Real Estate Netherlands. He joined Sentinel in 2014. From 2006 to 2014, Mr. Berkelder was a Managing Director at IBUS Asset Management, a real estate investment firm in The Netherlands. From 1994 to 2006, he worked for investment bank Kempen & Co as director of the listed real estate securities brokerage unit. Mr. Berkelder studied Business Economics at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands and has a degree as a Chartered European Financial Analyst (CEFA).

Ninghao Ho

Ninghao Ho is a Director of Sentinel Investment Advisors Singapore Pte. Ltd. responsible for Sentinel’s business development initiatives in Asia. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2012, Mr. Ho worked at the international law firm Hogan Lovells, where he advised on a range of corporate areas including capital raising, deal structuring and acquisitions. Mr. Ho received a B Commerce and B Laws from the University of New South Wales and an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is a registered lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW, Australia.

Jan Watzl

Jan Watzl is Sentinel’s Director of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is responsible for marketing and client relations in those countries. Mr. Watzl joined Sentinel in 2009, establishing the firm’s office in Munich. Prior to that, he held a similar position at Pramerica Real Estate Investors, a subsidiary of Prudential Financial. Mr. Watzl graduated with a Diploma in Real Estate Business Management from the University of Nuertingen in Germany.

Hind Habbach
Director

INVESTOR SERVICES PROFESSIONAL
Hind Habbach is a Director of Sentinel Real Estate Investment Corporation with responsibilities for investor relations in the Middle East and Gulf Regions. She represents Sentinel in its dealings with business councils and Chambers of Commerce throughout North Africa and the Middle East. Previously, she had responsibilities in asset and property management for Sentinel’s high-rise/mid-rise residential portfolio group. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2010, she held a paralegal position at the Law Offices of Gabriela Krockmalnic and a clerkship at Greater Boston Legal Services in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Habbach interned for Hogan Lovells in Dubai, UAE where she assisted in the publication of the firm’s chapters on Islamic Finance Law. She earned a Juris Doctorate from New England Law | Boston and a dual BA in International Relations and English from Suffolk University. Ms. Habbach is admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey and belongs to the American Bar Association.
