The article focuses on managing rising operational costs while ensuring excellent service and high-quality living spaces. Karen contributed observations regarding technology implementation and staffing and highlighted that using more durable materials, such as vinyl flooring instead of carpeting, can help apartment operators reduce costs. She stated, “Vinyl’s resistance to stains and wear means fewer repairs and less frequent cleaning, resulting in substantial turnover savings.” As such, in 2026, Sentinel is continuing to upgrade to durable vinyl flooring across its properties.
